Link to PLAAS Webinar: Is the Traditional Courts Bill necessary to enable access to justice for communities in the former homelands?

On 1 April 2021 the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS) hosted a webinar on the Traditional Courts Bill.

LARC director Nolundi Luwaya and Constance Mogale the national coordinator of the Alliance for Rural Democracy (ARD) discussed whether the Bill is necessary to enable access to justice for communities in the former homelands. The conversation was facilitated by  Nkanyiso Gumede, a researcher at PLAAS.
